Description next to materials

I received a quesiton today, from one of our sparepart assistants.
Who wanted to know if it was possible to have the description of assemblies, subassemblies and materials next to their respective number. For example in Job entry, or job tracker etc.

I have attached a picture below to illustrate
I doubt that it can be done, but i wanted to try and find out if it could be done.

Have you tried using the tree options? I think it may be done there per below.
