Go to System Management > Utilities > Menu Maintenance. On the left side of the menu maintenance screen, you will see your existing menu tree. Navigate through the tree until you come to the folder where you want your report to go. Then select New Menu. In the bottom half of the menu detail, choose BAQ Report for the program type, and select the report you want attached to this menu item. The rest of the fields are pretty straightforward and the help on this screen should be able to give you the guidance you may need. After you save your new menu item, you have to exit Vantage/Vista and reopen it for the menu item to actually show up. HTH

How do i attach this report to a menu item?

I had the same problem you have. I don't know why it happens, but I did come up with a workaround. Chances are, when you created the report, there is a copy of it in your custom reports folder (probably at \\Your Server Name\Epicor\mfgsys803\reports\customreports). If it is not there, but is on your local drive, copy it to your custom reports folder. Next, attach it to a menu item, either as the sole item on that menu item, or as a report style on another menu item (The details of how to do that is another subject, but let me know if you need guidance there). Now, run the report from your menu item. You will be able to see exactly how it looks with all the data in place. I do this to refine my reports. I have the report open in Crystal, I make my changes and save it. Then, without closing the report or Crystal, I run the report in Vantage/Vista and I see my changes. I just keep switching back and forth until I get the report I am happy with.
Someone else may have a better way to do this, but it works for me.

Subject: {Disarmed} [Vantage] Won't display data with Crystal
Hello,
I'm literally brand new to the Vantage system (8.03.305). I have
learned how to create BAQs for reports, but when I go into the BAQ
report designer, and go to actions -> design crystal report, crystal
will launch, but no data is displayed. Tried to get someone from Epicor
to help me, but no one has returned my email. I'm kinda embarrassed,
because I know this is pretty basic, but, like i said, I'm totally new
to this, and there was no one who designed reports before me, so I have
no reference. I think i may have something configured wrong. Any
thoughts? Thanks in advance.
