Divisional Controller

Global manufacturing company seeks controller to oversee division providing
SEMI-equipment assemblies and subsystems. Candidate must have sound, mature
business judgment, good professional image, track record of performance as a
self-starter with a high energy level and a willingness to take
responsibility. Position involves managing the division's accounting
functions to ensure that the division is managed in an efficient and
effective manner. These functions include: supervising an accounting staff
of three employees, producing monthly internal reporting packages, preparing
supporting documents relating to tax returns, audits and bank covenants,
ensuring corporate accounting policies are followed, and providing
additional information as necessary to CFO, divisional VP and other top
management.
Requirements: Professional accounting degree, CPA preferred. Three to six
years experience in an accounting firm or manufacturing environment, with
management responsibility. Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems,
preferably Vantage. Ability to communicate effectively with top management
and external parties such as bankers or auditors. Excellent analytical
skills. Ability to interpret and apply company policies independently.
Excellent skills with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Annual Salary: Competitive based on experience. Comprehensive benefits
