Here is the scenario:
2 parts on a job. We get roughly 75% done with the 2 parts. Get one back from OP and the paint on one is bad. We then split the job and keep the bad one on job A and issue a NCR which eventually goes to a DMR.

Exhibit 2: Cost flowed to DMR. Only a fraction.
I have been fighting this. Why in the world would it only bring a partial of the costs when the entire job was DMR’d as scrap? The rest is either in WIP (if job is still open) or in VARIANCE (if job is closed).
