Company is only really required if you have multiple companies but it should always work if included.

I've been wrestling with a DMT of bill of materials (BOM) (905702) all morning.  I'm posting in hopes of saving some other person a headache in the future.  

 

The DMT FAILS if the Company field is included, despite the fact that the template claims it is a required field.  Also, reference designator is NOT required (but does not cause error if used).
