What is the best order of DMT’s to be able to DMT a full method into the system.
This will have new part numbers that need to be created, will need to create a fresh method for all sub-assemblies and link the sub-assemblies to each parent?
I saw this post from way back but I believe it is talking from one level not multiple levels.
That old order is still applicable. There are other Part Tables for the new parts you are adding (depending upon whether you utilize them or not). But in terms of requisite DMT order to create a part and then build the Method of Manufacture, it’s accurate.

Bill of Materials (Done 2nd so that you can assign materials to the appropriate operations in which they’re needed).
As for linking subassemblies, that all depends upon how you construct your Methods of Manufacture. You can set to View as Assembly, Pull as Assembly, Plan as Assembly in the Bill Of Materials DMT the same way you would in the Enginneering Workbench.
When in doubt, create a Method in Engineering Workbench, and then use a BAQ to query the PartOpr & PartOpDtl tables (for Operations) and the PartMtl table (for materials). And you’ll see very quickly how to construct your DMT Templates in order to achieve the necessary results.
