DMT - Sales Order Line

Hi Scott,

To get round this issue, I added the lines 1 & 2 (and any other missing
numbers) manually in excel (just copied 3 & 4 etc), then deleted them once
imported into epicor. I couldn't find any other way to resolve it.

This process did take a while to do, but it allowed everything else to be
loaded. After this I did ask the guys in sales to void lines instead of
deleting them...I think that lasted for a few weeks!!

I believe we also had the same issue with Purchase Order Lines/Releases.

Regards,

Darryn

Subject: [Vantage] DMT - Sales Order Line

I am testing importing Sales Order Line and Releases with the DMT and saw
that even if the Lines for a Sales Order is 3,4 and 5 from the extracted
data (no lines 1 or 2 because they were deleted) it is inserting them as
Lines 1, 2 and 3. Which then causes the Sales Order Release to not import
because the line numbers are off. I am inserting Sales Records separately;
Header, Lines and then Releases using the separate programs.

Wondering how anyone handled this. I do not want to renumber Lines and the
Release Line Numbers because that will then cascade to JobProd not being
correct for linked jobs to releases.

Does the Sales Combined get around this?

Thanks,

Scott
