We have a lot of jobs that somehow didn’t pickup the operation description correctly. We want to go back and update the op descriptions for these jobs. They are open jobs, that have been released. Is there a DMT form to update op description for open/released jobs?

There is a Job Operation template, yes.
I would test this out (in Pilot) as it may not process depending on your settings in Company Config. I think there’s a setting in there about making changes to Engineered jobs.
If you have that setting as “Prevent Changes”, DMT may fail. But you could potentially uncheck the “Prevent Changes” checkbox, process your DMT and then recheck that setting.

I thought we ran into this before. We have that set to Prevent Changes. We have to uncheck that, run the DMT, then set it again. Maybe Epicor changed that.

Ours was not checked so we didn’t have to change anything.
Ahh ok. That makes more sense. I read it as even the engineered updated with that checked. Nm. Carry on.
