I found this column in the OrderHed table, but I am not sure where to find this field in the Order Entry form. Is it found somewhere else? We have a company that wants to set an early shipment date value, so I thought Do Not Ship Before would work for that.
These fields are available to view in the Order entry list views, but don’t do anything directly UNLESS you have and use the Fulfillment workbench (FWB).
In the FWB, you can filter orders by these values to find orders that can be shipped early.

Sweet! I never knew about that. We’ve created a UD Hold Code to do this, but I’d rather use out of the box features.
Maybe we can add a UD for DoNotShipBefore to the Summary and Header tab’s to populate all the lines, similar to how NeedBy/ShipBy works.

Is the DNS Before/After field used in conjunction with Ship By Date or do you use it instead of?
used in addition to the ship by date… Ship by is still what drives MRP. these additional fields are used in the Fulfilment workbench to find orders that could be shipped.

Sorry for necroposting! It appears that Do Not Ship Before/After fields are not available at the OrderRel level. Do I assume then that the DNS Before date on the line will be the DNS Before for all release regardless of how far out releases might be? I can live with it… just making sure I understand.
