Document Mangement Sharepoint

Yeah, for our setup the user that's logged into the domain is passed across to Sharepoint as the authenticated user to upload the document to the site.

You could try editing the permissions on the sharepoint and modify the Visitors group to allow Contribute permissions and see if that does the trick. By default Visitors are read only.

Hello All,

We are trying to use Share Point with Epicor 9 for our document management
we have successflly create the library on our site and then we go to create
an attachment the system creates the appropriate folder but after that we
get this error on the Vantage Side adnt he file is not attached

The following application error was encountered:

Copy operation 1 failed.
Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Code: Unknown

Any ideas?

Thanks!

We've been having the same problem. If you find a solution, please post it
back!

There any event log errors or entries on the server that's hosting SharePoint?

No there aren't any weird entries in the event log of the SharePoint site.
I've made the share point site allow anonymous access cause I can't find
anywhere how to authenticate the Vantage User but other than that everything
is normal.

Try adding an attachment directly to the Sharepoint site from your web browser to the folder that Vantage created to see if Sharepoint is working without going through Vantage. If the error still happens then you know it's something within Sharepoint itself.

Just tested it from the site and it works fine although I hve to be logged
in...

Any way to make Vantage authenticate ? As far as I can tell there is no way
to allow uploads from non authenticated users.
