We’re a cloud Kinetic customer that goes live in the spring. We have an ACH file that gets generated on the Epicor cloud server. We don’t really want everyone in accounting to have access to all the folders and files inside the Server File Download application in Epicor, but we do want everyone in accounting to have access to that specific file.

Is there a way through the REST API, BPMs, etc. that we could download that file to our company server (not the Epicor cloud)? Another avenue to a solution might be allowing everyone in accounting to have access to Server File Download, but they are restricted to only that specific file or parent folder?.

Yes, the Ice.LIB.FileTransferSvc in REST can do that for you.
