Drill from Job to PO

This is not new and has been suggested to epicor on both po's from jobs and
sales orders from timephase. If I have 80 releases on a blanket order from a
customer time phase drops you in on line one release one. As far as version
8 Sonoma, from what I have seen in the early access and beta testing it
looks like we will be able customize a browse by adding our own SHEET using
what is called a SHEET WIZARD. This adds your own tab on the screen, then
add a browse to the sheet to view another table in our case linking to just
the PO releases that have been highlighted on prior sheets within the same
tracker. This looks like a very powerful tool in version 8, and may be one
of the primary reasons for us to migrate. Every want to be in part tracker,
order tracker or job tracker and have a TAB for DMR's for a part?

We have discovered a frustration here with the way Vantage links to PO
Tracker from Job Operation.
When you have a subcontract operation and you drill into the PO, from the
Job, Vantage will bring you to the correct PO, but will ignore what line or
release it is linked to, just highlighting the first line and release. This
is problematic for "Blanket POs" when you are linked to say line 5 release
2, and you have to remember that fact from the Job Operation listing of POs
when you track to the PO because it just brings up the PO to line 1. What
would be needed is to have the link bring up PO Tracker and highlight to the
correct line and release.
If you feel this would be a worthy enhancement, please add yourself to
"Enhancement Request page number 11969MPS".

I am wondering in the back of my head if this will be something we will be
able to address ourselves in V8. Anyone have any thoughts on that?
