Drop Down list

Michael,
Todd's method will work for you, with some modification.
Start by creating a VB ComboBox and populating the list with your company
options.
Then set it with an export name.
Then print preview the Form.
Then edit the Crystal form and verify the database (you may have to set
location also).
The field will then be available in the export. Now you can set your form
up as Todd did with conditional print based on the contents of your VB
field.
Good luck,
Aaron Hoyt

Todd,

Thanks for the info. I went to our accounting department and GM with
with the multi company idea and hit a brick wall (can you say ouch).
They are letting me know that they would like to just have a vb list
to select which header to use based on user, but what you are saying
about the multi compnay is that is already done for you, and no need
to reinvent the wheel. I'll keep hitting that wall til I break it
down.

only one company. This is included in at least one of the DBF tables
and controls the printing of which header logo. In effect the
selction was already done by the company the user was logged into
when the DBF's were populated. I just lay one logo over the other
and suppress the printing of the "wrong" one.

We change the header for invoices and packing slips - by company....but not with a drop down list. Since the DBF files are populated by a Progress routine in the Vantage menus they will have only one company.
