Dual screen window location

1. No fixes or workarounds that I am aware of. Didn't recall XP working "properly" with dual screens and Vantage.

2. You can use the Windows key and the arrow keys to move the window to the desired screen. If you no longer have focus on the Vantage window you can use Alt + Tab to cycle through open programs.

Subject: [Vantage] Dual screen window location

This is a two question post. We're running Vantage 6.1 and both are related to dual monitors. If anyone has dealt with or knows of a solution to either or both, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. If running Windows 7 and Vantage 6.1, if you move Vantage to non-primary screen, any other windows opened in Vantage open in the primary screen. So, if you open say PO Entry when Vantage is on the secondary screen, PO Entry opens in the primary screen. If you move PO Entry to the secondary screen and then close it and reopen it, it still opens in the primary screen. It doesn't remember its prior location unlike Windows XP. It's problematic for users that want all their Vantage windows to remain on the secondary screen.

2. If the main Vantage window was closed while it was on the secondary screen. If you attempt to login to another terminal with only one monitor or login to a terminal server or remote desktop (Windows 7 or Server 2008), the Vantage window opens into an area that is not visually accessible. Therefore, you can't grab the window and move it back to the main screen you're on. Work around is to log back into Vantage on a dual screen system and move the Vantage window to the primary screen and close it, where by it now remembers it's in the primary screen.

Thanks
-James
