We’re getting duplicate postings when we recognize revenue and when we ship products for projects. Closing projects does the reversal of the duplicate post, but it does it in the current month that the project is closed in, not the month that the revenue was recognized or the shipment was sent out. Our projects mostly do not close in the same period that we’d be shipping or recognizing revenue. Right now, if our shipping department doesn’t click the ‘shipped’ box, then the duplication isn’t happening. That’s not great because we’re showing a bunch of packs that are still open. If they do click the ‘shipped’ box, the duplication does take place, and then we’d have to manually reverse it. All of the manual effort to reverse could be avoided if we could somehow get the project close date to not be the live date, but a period in the past. Any suggestions on how we do that in Epicor?
