my solution for the lack a key sequence for entering a tab character (here in E10 Help) is to open notebook, hit tab, then copy and paste it into the browser’s text field.

BTW - I’ve stopped putting tabs into text fields in E10 (stopped back in V8).

and “space-space-space-space-space” doesn’t always work in here.
This line has 5 spaces at the beginning
’ This one has 5 spaces between the open single quote and the first word’
Shows in my editor as:

But in the preview (and as posted) as:

It was never really a serious suggestion…

I think someone posted a video clip from Silicon Valley, when he breaks up with a girl over spaces vs tabs.

Yeah, it’s a running theme in the show.

is there any way in APR to send the email in html format?

@John_Mitchell Did.

@mikef have you tried calling epicor support?

System setup ->company/site maintenance -> company configuration / email and reporting.
Global alert from : Email Address.
will need to configure your smtp server.

Back to the main question on this post:
I do have a SMTP Server set up and it is generic, but when emailing out Invoices, I am wanting to use a different name on the From that is AR specific. Is there a way to do that?

If you are just using the default Email button when printing the report I don’t think there is. Do you have SSRS advanced routing capabilities? In other words, do you have the advance printing and routing license? I know you can change the attachment name when setting up an email action in a routing rule.

And you can change the “From:” in a Break/Routing email too.

And we have no email account named “AcctsRcv”. So the sender doesn’t validate it (at least our exchange setup doesn’t)
