The part search in E10 is acting different than it did in E9. If the part starts with a letter, it pulls up parts with that letter and then special characters first before searching for the rest of the part number.

If we scroll down through the list after the “M-” parts our search parts start to appear.
How can we change this unwanted search behavior?
Remove the grid sort.
Here’s an example w/o a grid sort:
I searched for “CB1” and CB1000 appears before “CB-…”
After sorting the column by Part, CB1 appears below

We had to remove the grid sort then save layout and it finally works as it should.
