E10: Temporarily disable all BPMs at once

Hey Joe,
Try this
1. On your Epicor server, navigate to the web site directory of the appserver you are testing in. Ex. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\EpicorTest10.

2. Open the server subfolder and copy the existing web.config file.

3. Open the original web.config file in an elevated Notepad session(or your text editor of choice).

4. Search for customizationSettings disabled="false" and change to customizationSettings disabled="true".

5. Save your changes.

6. On your Epicor server, navigate to Start > All Programs > Epicor Software > Epicor ERP version 10 > Epicor Administrative Tools > Epicor Administration Console.

7. Expand Server Management > the name of your Epicor server and left click on EpicorTest10.

8. Right-click on the EpicorTest10 appserver and select Recycle IIS Application Pool.

9. When prompted "Are you sure?", click Yes.

10. Try to duplicate the steps you used before to see the behavior within the Epicor client - Do you get the same behavior? If yes, go back through these steps but change customizationSettings disabled="true" to customizationSettings disabled="false" in step 4 and notify the support analyst you are working with of the results - do not proceed to the next section. If you don't get the same error message, proceed to the next section.

Hello,

In E9, if you wanted to disable all BPMs and data directives, all you had to do was move/rename the “bo” and “db” folder in EPICOR905\BPMExec\LiveBPM.
Once you were done, you could move back or rename again and everything was running.

Is there a trick like this for E10?

Thanks Jose. I know of this screen but this will not do what I want.
It would work if all directives are enabled and I just want to toggle them all on or all off.
In our case, we are chipping away and converting and testing each one. We have a lot already converted and tested but still have many more to do.
I couldn’t use the group name feature either because entire groups are not completed.

This is why I’m looking for an equivalent “trick” that works in E9.
It sounds like it would work, I’m just looking for advice on what folder contains all the method and data directives, similar to the BPMExec folder in E9.
