If you go into the Language Maintenance (System Setup-->System Maintenance-->Language Maintenance)

Search for the installed language and update the translated value.

I have also done a mass translation (someone wanted the Word "Job" replaced with "Shop Order")

Exported English did a word replace in WordPad on the text file. Created a new language and reimported the new "Language".  This changed everywhere (except the menu) the word Job with Shop Order - screens and printed forms (Job Traveler became Shop Order Traveler)

We have the French version of translation for our forms.  Apparently one of the translations is causing confusion with some French customers and we would like to modify it.  Is there any way to modify a translation ourselves?
