E10: Two Appservers pointing to one Database?

Just to add to that, if you have certain processes that are intensive or problematic as it were, under task agent/actions there is task agent rules, you can set there if you want certain process id’s, users, etc to point to a particular task agent/app server

Yeah that would work.. I would not have another Task Agent though that may get funky... but the rest should be fine

Hello,

Is it possible/ok to have two appservers pointing to the same database, all on a single server?

I need to install a new appserver to test if an issue we are having is related to one of the many one-offs we have installed.

Support is suggesting that we create a new appserver but I haven’t gotten an answer back if it is ok to have two appserver pointing to the same database.
