E9: Buffer entire database

Hi All,

 

I’ve been reading Progress documents but have not been able to find an answer.

Our E9 database is only 3 GB. We are running OE 10.2A 64-bit. We have plenty of RAM on the server.

Is there any downside to increasing the buffer pool size to the point where the entire database is buffered?

If there is no downside, is upside noticeable?

 

Any other feedback?
