What size is your current db? This has been typical for those with a significant amount of data.

Subject: [Vantage] E9: Data Conversion from 8.03.409C to 9.05.700

I am using EpicorDataUpgradeUtility_905700.pdf to convert our 8.03.409C to 9.05.700. This is currently a test and we are seeing how long it would take.

These has taken me several days to do the following conversions.
1. UOM
2. 8.03.409C to 9.04
3. 9.04 to 9.05.700
4. 10080
5. 10012

This timeframe is not acceptable to converting our Live data on a weekend.

Is this typical for these conversions to take day's to run?

Does anyone have any suggestions, any guides, tips or tricks that anyone may have available?

Environment
TEST 9.05.700 Environment (all selfcontained):
Windows 2012 Datacenter Hyper-V client-environment
Processor: (6) Core Intel Xeon X5660 @ 2.80Ghz
Memory: 16GB
Local SQL 2012 Standard server
IIS 8 (IIS 6 Mgt Compatiblity installed)
