E9: Issues with the Customizing code

The only thing to be aware of, is that if you're wiring handlers to the
built in controls instead of custom controls, you'll need to pull a
reference from the CSM before you can wire to them.

Is anyone have weird issues with the Customization window in E9? Here is my issue:

I can add event handlers when I FIRST get into the customization mode, BUT, if I compile then I go back to the Wizards tab to add more events, then all of my custom controls are gone. I then have to back all the way out and come back in to add more events.

Am I alone on this? If not is there a fix (patch) for it?
I've seen similar issues, though I haven't put much effort into fixing
them. I've just gotten in the habit of wiring the handlers manually.

Thanks John, you also answered my next question, can I add the handlers manually without worrying about Epicor adding code behind the scenes that I can't do.
