E9 - move Sales Order Entry customization from Production to Tes

It worked like a charm and was easier than I thought. These kinds of things become tricky when you are new and when there is not a lot of documentation, written, online or otherwise....
I have the Epicor books and must have read through them at least a few dozen times and not once, did I find that in there.

I am trying to move a customization of Sales Order Entry from Production to Test. I have searched online and looked through my books and have not found the answer.


I originally thought to do a search through BAQ's but was unsuccessful. I knew that this was not a BAQ but had to try...

Create a solution and then import the solution into the test system.

Go into developer mode.  Open Order Entry and your customization.

 

Right click and CUSTOMIZE

FILE > EXPORT CUSTOMIZATION

 

Then in your test.

 

ULTILITIES > CUSTOMIZATION

IMPORT.

Under Systems Management > Utilities > Customization Maintenance - Under Actions – Export the customization.

 

While you are in the Customization – under File – you can also export.

 

Then import into Production.
