E9: Move to new server - getting Avalara Error

Phew. Figured it out and thought I would share.

So after comparing the two servers. I found on the new server there were two folders in EPICOR905\Server\avalara that did not exists on the old server.

They were the folders, “com” and “org”.

I moved these folders out and was able to successfully test my connection to Avalara.

I moved my DB to a new E9 server.

When I test the connection to Avalara, I’m getting the following error:

- Unable to find required classes (javax.activation.DataHandler and javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart). Attachment support is disabled.
<AvaResult>
Ping Tax Service - Error Found: An error occurred when verifying security for the message.
</AvaResult>

OK
---------------------------

I fired up the old server to see if it was just a coincidental issues with Avalara but that one still tests successfully.
I must be missing something between the two servers.

Any ideas?

I did run the update for the java certs.
