E9: Product Configurator - Document Rules - Found Solution

It turns out that I can set the PO cost for a configured part that is
configured at the quote or sales order level by using pricing rules!

The PO Configurator capability for Purchase ordering is designed to be
used when you "buy" from another division/company of your own company
that is also on Epicor. The configurator used by the "sales" company is
actually a configurator built by the "manufacturing" company. The
configuration information is passed over to the other division as part
of the Selling Sales Order/PO/Manufacturing Sales Order/Job linkage.
