E9: Product Configurator Questions

Hi Joe,

>What is the syntax for creating and calling a function?

Here's an example from one of our configurators:

if effGPM <> 0 and v1 <> 0 and series <> "" then do:
run ud/ufm/bowlsize.p (input effGPM, input series, input v1, output dBowl).
end.

It has three inputs and one output. I call it from On Leave for both Series and v1 inputs. The result goes into another input dBowl. The program is stored in the UD folder in the Server folder.

Hello,

I have two quick questions about the Product Configurator

1) Can inline comments be added to the code?

2) Is it possible to create a function that can be called from an
inputs onleave? We have a code snipet that needs to run when certain
fields change. Rather than having to add and manage the code multiple
times, it would be nice to create a function once and call that function
when needed.

Thank you!

Yes, I believe I have added /* */ to code (both in 8 and 9)
