ECO in Multi-Company

Hello Brian - That exactly what we have set up and to our surprise
Revision info nor Plant info "link" over to the other companies. I am
going to open out a Support ticket on this but I have heard that
Vantage was intended to work like this. Thanks again

Hello! We have linked parts set up in a Multi-Company environment

this doesn't update in our other companies. Do we have something set
up incorrectly?? Thanks!!

We're not using Global/Linked Parts, but here goes...

In External Company Maintenance you need to have a external company
record for the other company on both sides of the relationship. In
Company A you need to create a MultiCompany type External Company record
for Company B and vice versa.

In that record you will need to check the 'Send Part' flag.

In addition, in Global Table you need to specify the fields in Part
that you want to send from Company A to Company B (and vice versa). My
assumption here is that Part Revision info comes along automatically, as
I don't see PartRev listed as a Global Table. However that makes me
suspicious.

Hello! We have linked parts set up in a Multi-Company environment
but, notice that when we do an ECO and the Part Revision is updated
this doesn't update in our other companies. Do we have something set
up incorrectly?? Thanks!!
