We have been on the struggle bus trying to resolve our EDI issues and auto-prints. Since the Browser UI, we have been unable to do any process on the browser that is related to EDI processes. For some reason when we go to generate the textfiles, no report (810,850’s,856’s) will print to the share folder. We used to get an error from Edge unable to validate report bytes. Just recently a few months back, another wierd thing started happening in the application. Say for instance you would process AR Invoices (to generate the EDI files), it would process the transaction, but would shows the EDI reports as a “Print” for the Last Action in the system monitor. It’s like the system is not seeing the right report printing engine, I have no clue. If you went to Actions and clicked on Print Preview, it would oddly turn the last action into “text file output” and generate the file and put it in the output path that was on the report style.
I have been at this for a year, multiple (and I mean dozens) epicor tickets, consultants and no one can figure it out. We literally have one week left, and I don’t think I have enough patience left to keep me level grounded! I have tried ftp share paths for windows, the paths epicor recommended for preparation for linux and nothing works! I am reaching for anything! We heavily rely on EDI and this would cripple us. Raising concerns with Epicor and nada, zilch, crickets
