distribution lists like sales@... or helpdesk@.... The email
server looks up the address and sees that it's a distribution list and sends
an email to each person on the list. In a different system, we used to email
reports as PDF files. We created a list for each person who received the
report and put their names in that list. If someone moved to another
department or if a new employee started, we just added or removed users
without changing any embedded code.
