# Embedded Dashboard Auto Retrieve Issue

This one is a head-scratcher, especially since this worked in E9.  It takes a while to explain what's going on, so please bare with me.

On E10, I have an Updatable Dashboard in the End Labor Activity screen.  I added this dashboard as a Dashboard Panel and had it display the tool bar and status bar (so users could update/save the data they enter in).  The dashboard would appropriately filter itself by auto-subscribing to the JobNum in the screen, but Unfortunately it would lose its toolbar and status bar after loading, making this route impossible.

So instead of having it as a Dashboard Panel, I went the AppBuilder Panel route.  Everything worked just fine, but the dashboard would no longer auto-filter even though I set it up to auto retrieve on publication.  To get around this, I changed it to subscribe to the UI data, but I included the Retrieve button.  So it works, but I don't want the Retrieve button in there, it should auto-subscribe just as it did in Epicor 9.  Here's to hoping someone out there found a way around this.  Perhaps this is on the list of Epicor's upgrade fixes?

Hard to believe there isn't anyone out there that's hit the same issue.  Well... if I ever figure this one out, I'll be sure to post here once I do.
