It wouldn't hurt to go to Progress' site & download the Open Edge Development Progress 4GL Handbook.
That can help with BAQs (and I suppose BPMs - not my thing). The BAQ editor only supports a small subset of the full progress language - but sometimes you get lucky and the handbook will give you a cleaner way to deveop a calculated field.
If you are doing client cusotmizations, you can't go wrong regularly visiting MS' Technet site. (Tons of free .NET code examples & a good self education source... Likely the same re v9 & ADO & C#).

Bingo! Thank you.
This brings up another point. You have fed me for a day, but what I would really like to do is know how to fish. We have the "Epicor Tools User Guide", but it only got 75% to the solution. You (and the other helpful people on this list) seem to have taken that "next step" in finding resources. I have had poor luck searching the Answer Books, and our Sales Rep mostly recommends on-line classes that other people here have already taken. I have gotten most of these "last mile" answers from this list.
Is there a set of resources I missing?
