Employee Training

One idea would be to setup a workcenter for each training course that your company holds which you can assign a cost to. Next create a job that contains all of the training courses (work centers) you have and finally have the employees clock in and out of this job. This would enable you to track your costs as long as employees log in and out of the job/workcenter. We have done this in the past and usually keep the job open for one year however, this would be entirely up to you.

We are looking at trying to set up better identification of training so we can verify that employees took required training classes and to be able to track costs and plan better. We currently have an Indirect ID for training which employees clock into, but I was wondering what others are doing in this regard. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks
