I used to use a file called endact.r. it was a file you could run
through the command window to end labour activity that didn't get clock
out of properly or have a problem

does any one have the file they can email me that works for Vantage 6.1,
my version only works on 6

Subject: [Vantage] 404 (with AMM & APS) support for triggering final
inspection of OPs versus 1st article

We are testing 404 (with APS, AMM) and it appears there is no support
for triggering a FINAL inspection upon OP completion.

Scouring help files and user manual doc's (as well as looking at the
related db tables), all I'm seeing is the support to specify a 1st
article qty.

I suppose we could manually edit each Job Op after details are generated
and specifically set the 1st article qty = to the total scheduled qty
(but our production control department would then be burdened with the
need to manually perform this task to hundred(s) of Job OpDtl's per
day).

ANy ideas?

Rob

I might be misunderstanding your question, but what we do is add an
inspection step in the process where we need it. The inspection is
not a part of the manufacturing step, it is a step on its own.
