Anyone else get flooded with messages in event viewer for engineering check outs? If so know of any way to turn it off?
That’s been there for ever, they are obnoxious
Yeah for sure I know it has been there forever but it finally really got to me was hoping there was a flag someone knew about.
Add it to the Epicor Ideas portal
And here I thought that was one of my ‘debug’ BPMs that I just couldn’t track down…
In reality it’s some Epicor developer’s debug message that they forgot to remove…
Ha! gotcha beoch!! It’s in internals not services hot dang that’s deep but I found it lol! How can I spin this into a bug this should not be an idea… hmmmm… My real business case is these stupid messages absolutely buried debugging messages I was trying to find. Took me forever to scroll through the mass checkout to see if I even got what I was looking for to trigger.
Case CS0003426328 submitted. Just out here doing the lords work fingers crossed.
Taking bets on whether…
- Epicor Support Will give a “Working as Designed” Response and close it
- Epicor Support Will Accept the Bug and Fix It
- Epicor Support Will ask for Steps to Replicate and then Ghost you

I picked ‘A’ - as it takes the least effort by Epicor.

Can i vote more than once?
It’s crazy we have to waste votes on what is clearly tech debt. Makes it even more nonsensical to have the 50 vote limit.
And vote for the DevOps idea to get all logging out of the server and use modern practices to log to places where developers and Epicor Support can get to them easily (be it cloud or on-prem) as well as create events to act upon.
