Engineering Workbench - Get Details from Quote

The sub-assemblies do not exist in the part master table.  They are created "on the fly" during the quoting process.  Get Details in the Engineering Workbench pulls these parts in as subassemblies and creates them in the part master screen, but without a method of manufacturing.  So we have to then go into each subassembly and do a Get Details for each one.

How are you creating the sub-assembly?  Do they already exist?

To pull a sub-assembly into the job at hand you mark the sub-assembly "Pull as Assembly".  This will pull the sub-assembly and its MOM into the parent part.
Hi,
Our estimators will typically create quotes with "on the fly" parts that do not exist in the Part Master file.  When we receive an order for these quotes, we would like to import the operations and materials from the quotes.   We can create the part in part master, create a revision, then check the part out and open in Engineering Workbench.  When we perform Get Details and choose the Quote->Part Number, the system pulls in operations, materials, and subassemblies for the part, which is great.  However, it does not pull in operations and materials for the subassemblies.  The system creates the subassembly parts in the part master, but we have to manually pull in the details for each subassembly.

Are we doing something wrong?  Is there a better way to create parts from quotes with full manufacturing details (including details for subassemblies)?
