This week we put in a request to be able to delete an operation(s) and
any related materials - without having to delete each material, then
each operation. Not sure if this has been an issue for anyone else but
several of our engineers have brought this up.

I was directed to custom programming (and got a quote). We feel
however that this functionality should be part of the program. I do not
have the request number yet - but if you call they should have a record
of it.

Have a fantastic weekend!

From where? a job? A method? what version are you on?

Subject: [Vantage] Enhancment Request

This week we put in a request to be able to delete an operation(s) and
any related materials - without having to delete each material, then
each operation. Not sure if this has been an issue for anyone else but
several of our engineers have brought this up.

I was directed to custom programming (and got a quote). We feel
however that this functionality should be part of the program. I do not
have the request number yet - but if you call they should have a record
of it.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Brian

Can't you copy the BOM and operations to Excel, hit the "Delete All"
option on the tree-view, and then copy-insert any bits back from the
Excel spreadsheet that you need...?

Naturally you can't delete items on a job where materials have been
issued...

Does that help...?
