Has anyone worked out a way to make the enter key move between fields like
the Tab does in 8.03.403?
This is one of the training challenges that should be able to be eliminated.
If users did not have to retrain their input method (enter worked in 6.1)
and for instance, could stick to the number pad when entering numbers it
would save a bunch of (training) time in our upgrade.

I typically recommend against using this setting because in the grids
you can not get to the next line with out clicking on new line...where
as pressing Enter will allow a new line to be created.

When I am on a grid the Enter key creates a new line. As an example in Order
Enter in the Summary Tab I create a New Line and then use Enter to move from
field to field. When I get to the end of the row and press Enter a new line
is created for me.

I think majority of us are very used to the Enter key (from legacy systems
and such) and it just seems way more natural to use versus the Tab key.
Using Ctrl-Enter, at least in our environment, is used but not to the extent
of the normal Enter to move through a screen.

If it works the same as .305, just be aware that if your users are doing an entry in a comments field where they have to hit enter for a carriage return, it will not work if you have enter as the tab. It will be a never ending one string of text. You may want to test this out before you use this option company wide
