The posting method is seriously different - having read through the various manuals/help text etc. remain confused.
We have a very straightforward Chart of Accounts, Account and Dept Segments.
Has anyone got a “simple” Powerpoint or chart example of how to initially set-up the GL Controls - we set-up mostly at the Company level then certain Product Class will be different posting?
You should really consider having someone with experience help you with the setup. Either a certified consultant or someone directly from Epicor.
Setting up your GL wrong can lead to a world of pain for years and years to come.
And although we can give you some advice, each company is different, this is one of the few things where I’d recommend you get some professional help on.
