Epiccare Portal - Regenerate cloud DB

I thought I remembered hearing that Epicor was going to allow self-service when regenerating the data model for cloud customers. My recollection, which often isn’t quite right, was they were talking about rolling it out over the summer, then it got moved to the Dec 2 redesign of EpicCare. I can’t seem to find any reference to this in my emails, and can’t seem to find it on the EpicCare portal.

Anyone else remember this, or was I smoking something at the time? Anyone have any info on it?

Thanks.

I think I saw in the second 2024.2 Epicor Webinar; they said after the migration they would contact cloud customers. Didn’t say exactly when.

Its been “coming soon” for the last 3 years.

Here is what I can tell you.

I was part of the initial trials, and it works and it’s nice.

After Insights 2024, they opened up a second round of trials to those that signed up.

I do not know the status of those trials, and those customers would be covered by NDA, so they would be limited by what they can say.

I’ll tag someone I know in the new trial privately, and see if there is any more info that they have allowed them to share.

Well, I have some good news to share. We wrapped up a controlled release on the cloud portal a few weeks ago and they planned to roll it out soon(ish).
I can do the database regens for non prod environments in the portal. So there is the good news. It’s real and it’s spectacular
