EpiCombo SearchFilter: Pass Field Name

I managed to figure this out so I thought I would share.

I ended up added a parameter to EpiFiltersParams.
myField2 = ?[Field2, ‘JR1’]
The ‘JR1’ is a default value to use if Field2 is blank or null. This would prevent any records being return in my case.
Then I added the following to EpiFiltersAppend:
Key1 = ?{myField2}

Subject: [Vantage] EpiCombo SearchFilter: Pass Field Name

Hello,

I am using an EpiCombo in E9 to pull values from UD100 using the UD100 BO.
This is actually a customization on a BAQ Report UI.

I would like to filter the data in the EpiCombo based on the value entered in another ReportParam field.
For example, something like this:
Key1 = ReportParam.Filter2

This specific syntax does not work.

I have an old document that suggests something like
Key1 = ?[Filter2, ‘’]
But this generates a BO error that says is cannot understand this value.

Does anyone know the syntax to do what I’m trying to do?
