Are you using ODBC for the data connection?  If so is it the SQL Server native Client 11.0?  You might have to download from Microsoft and install that so that it is an option to use in the DSN.

Hello,


I am trying to create custom reports as I had in an older version (8), to the new version (10).

I have added the custom report exactly as in the old version:

-Program Type: Crystal Custom Report Link

-Icon: Report

-Program: It auto-selected "Ice.UI.CustomReport.dll"

-Report: I have copied the .rpt file from old directory to epicor10 directory and I have loaded it from there


I saved everything, but when I go to that certain custom report, I opened it and clicked print preview and what I get is just a "retrieving data" window which disappears in like a second.


Does anyone know why this is happening? Or what else is to be done in order for the custom report to work like it used in version 8?

Is Crystal Runtime installed on the machine you are trying to print from? I had to find a specific version of it in order for it to work properly.

That’s a tough one…I know I needed to have a specific version of runtime, CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_3, other than that, not sure as long as the Report Style is pointing to the correct file location on the server.
