Epicor 10 Hardware Setup

That won't make a chance, there is an email here from Eric Johnson @ Epicor which addresses that issue.Â

Hi,

How have other people configured their hardware for Epicor 10?

Are you running the Epicor application and SQL on the same server, or different servers?

In my testing I notice that if I leave my computer for an extended period of time and come back the application is very slow, it seems like it has to reconnect, but the subsequent screens after the first slow one are also very slow. I have changed IIS settings like Idle Time-out but still is slow.

My configuration is currently Epicor application and SQL on the same server. Wondering if moving the database to it's own server would help any.

Thanks,

Ted
