Agreed,

Login as a domain admin and run the install in admin mode.

Works fine on both 32 and 64 bit installs of windows 7 here.

How are you performing the install?

We are trying to install Epicor 9.05.602a on a Windows 7 PC and are getting the error "The file \\.....\config\mfgsys.pf could not be opened". We can navigate to that file off the Windows 7 PC and the file is not marked read only. We did try to install as an admin on the PC as well, same error. This install has worked on many other PCs, but those were all XP. Anyone else run across this and/or know how to fix it?
Thanks!
