As I'm in the process of discovering, you need to be careful.
In my testing, you cannot place a NEW sales order (you get a STOP message). However, if there is an EXISTING sales order, when you go to ship it, you get an INFORMATION message that you can just click through.
You cannot create a NEW job (work order). However, EXISTING work orders can be completed and moved to stock or shipped... you get informational messages.
Haven't messed with quoting or purchasing, but I would be very, very careful to check for any existing open PO, SO, Job, or anything else. I did this stuff on 9.04.507A, and will be testing it on 9.05.702A within the next couple of weeks.
