Hi Experts,

We are currently using EPICOR 9.05.701 and are planning to implement System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in our organization to deploy software packages to client machines centrally.

We have attempted to deploy the EPICOR client through SCCM. However, we are facing a practical challenge, as the EPICOR client requires a manual update of the server location path:

\E9SERVER\EPICOR905

We would like to know whether it is possible to configure a default server path such as:

\APPSERVER\Epicor905

So that clients can automatically connect without requiring manual path updates on each machine.

Your guidance and recommendations on this approach would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion is review the documentation fit the sysconfig. I think you will find the deployment server path shout help.

The other thing you can do is do a manual install of the client, then copy the whole folder and its contents to the other client machines. You could also store this for SCCM.
