You may need another pre-process bpm for inventory as it may well be calling a different method. I’m not covering the inventory tab so you should run a trace to determine that. If it is calling another method, then it’s just more of the same in a different house.

Tested further and it the Warehouse is displayed for Failed Qty on Job Operations and Job Materials but, not Inventory.
Umh - in Failed Inventory – it displays “none selected†for warehouse.
Any ideas?

Thank you Bob,
I just don’t think about the tools that are available with BPM’s.
Works great but, have one problem. The warehouse displays ‘none selected’ .
I have Set the FailedWarehouseCode
Failed WarehouseDesciption
Failed Bin
However, it processes just fine – I checked the database and it looks just like any other Non Conformance I processed choosing the fields manually.
Any thought on why it doesn’t display correctly?
Thanks for your help.

I am setting warehouse and Bin codes on Pre-Processing BO InspProcessing, Method OnChangeFailedQty. Condition is none, Actions set the InspNonConf.FailedWarehouseCode field of the updated row to the “your warehouse code†expression. Add another action for the Bin code the same as the warehouse. Works like a charm.

Subject: [Vantage] Epicor 9 9.05.605 BPM to set default warehouse in Inspection Processing
We have one warehouse for DMR and one bin.
When a failed Quantity is reported in Inspection Processing - Operation, material or Inventory - I would a BPM to default the warehouse.
I found the BO InspProcessing.OnChangeFailedQty but, when I look at the parameters - I can't find a way to find the right Non Conformance ID to assign the warehouse and bin.
If fact, I am a bit confused on the parameters.
Any help would be appreciated.
