Epicor 9 BAQ/Crystal Reports

>>Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size
Thanks, I'll remember it.

There was another recent thread from a user with a custom label problem - they also checked this box to fix their issue.

The help I read only mentioned this checkbox when setting up a custom page size in Crystal 2008.

So far I haven't needed it for landscape, maybe because I've been using standard paper sizes; letter, legal, tabloid, etc...

Does anyone know the trick to getting a BAQ/Crystal Report to print in Landscape mode? I've tried everything I can think of including Epicor Tech Support and all I can print is portrait. Hoping somene can help.

Thanks,

Hi Darryl,

I wonder what your setup is?
Version of Crystal you use to develop? Crystal Runtime?
Version of 9?

I use Crystal XI and 2008.
I don't remember any trouble printing BAQ reports in landscape.

Do you mean a BAQ report or do you mean printing from a Dashboard?

I am running Epicor 905.607B and am using Crystal Reports 2008 Enterprise for report development. Crystal Runtime 2008 on client machines. Forgetting about E9, when I print the report directly from Crystal, with every setting I can find set to landscape, I still get portrait. Maybe my report is corrupt and I just need to recreate.

It is a BAQ report. In crystal I set the page layout to landscape. When running the BAQ report, in print preview, I select the printer and then printer properties and verify that the page setup is landscape as well. I print the page and get portrait.

Hi Folks,

So I figured it out. In Crystal 2008 under page setup there is a checkbox entitled "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Page Size" Checking this box allows the report to print in landscape. I looked in help for an explanation of this checkbox but was unable to find anything so I don't fully understand the purpose of the checkbox, but by checking it, it solved my landscape problem.

Thanks,
Darryl Enfield
