Epicor 9-how to change indirect time entry after a capture/post?

Mike,

Do you use Epicor Payroll? We don’t, but I would think Epicor should have some way similar to Job Adjustment that allows you to adjust time out after the fact. I actually missed your reference to knowing about Job Adjustment in your original question, sorry about that. I don’t know if Epicor support would have an answer for you or not. I do know that Job Adjustment allows you to put negative time in, so if there is something in Payroll you should be able to do the same thing.

Steve,

How can this be done if he wasn’t actually clocked into a job.  He was just in an indirect clock in, not a production clock in.    Is this still possible????

Best regards

We did a capture and post yesterday prior to fixing an employee on the second shift that did not clock out. We clocked him out the next morning. If he had been in a job we would be able to fix that through Job adjustment but he was in indirect time (which previously in our Vantage 8 system did not capture and post.). Is there a way to adjust his time?

No way to adjust time once it has been posted.  It is the one reason not the run the Capture COS/WIP process frequently if you happen to do it.  The only thing you can do is a journal entry for the labor time to the labor bucket of the product group.

Thanks Manasa, was hoping there was some magic mojo that could fix it but that's what I thought.

If the employee was clocked in when the capture COS/WIP was done, that transaction, in our system, is not approved and would not be posted.  Once you clock an employee out of MES, you can go into Time and Expense entry and correct any non-posted transaction from there.  (9.057.02a)
