Hi,

Is DMT not based in Epicor (epicor client file, dmt.exe?)

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I am using Epicor 9.05.603 on a Progress database and have a need to adj-qty a lot of parts to zero on hand with various reason codes on a monthly basis.  I do have Service Connect and Progress 4GL programming knowledge but I am unsure how to handle this so all costs flow through to the GL as needed.

Can anyone please help point me in the right direction or give me a solution on how I can go about this.  The sooner I can get a resolution the better.

Thank you

Robert Nupp

We use the DMT tool to adj quantities on hand, simple spread sheet / csv.. reason codes are included in a column..

We also use DMT for QOH adjustments.  We are currently on 9.05.607 but we have used it all along, since going live on 9.04.

This data is sample of DMT template / our upload:

Company PartNum WareHseCode BinNum AdjustQuantity ReasonCode Plant Reference LotNum TransDate
TEIK 104243050 PA MAIN PA-Z406 0.5 CC 10 PI Inventory  12/31/2013
TEIK 22020A110 PA MAIN PA-GOV04 -2 CC 10 PI Inventory 001834 12/31/2013

Nancy

We do not currently have DMT and are currently not interested in buying it for this purpose.  Has anyone developed a way to do this without DMT?

Why do you want to do a quantity adjustment in mass?

Have you tried an updatable dashboard. As for the costs to the GL, each Adj Reason Code can have a GL Associated to it.

If you have SC Knowledge, then you should be able to just create a CSV file and dump it to a directory so that the workflow picks it up.
